If you're a Calamus client and you send someone our way, you both get up to two free months: one when they make their first payment, and a second after their third. No limit on how many people you refer.

How it works

Share your name. Tell someone about Calamus and let them know to mention you when they sign up. Your referral code is simply your company name — the one on your Calamus account.
They start with a Pilot Article. When they fill out the intake form, there's a field that asks “Were you referred by anyone?” — they put your name there.
They subscribe. Once their first monthly payment clears, the referral qualifies. (We tie the reward to a real payment, not a signup, so the program stays fair.)
You both get your first free month. We apply the credit to both subscriptions and email a confirmation. A second free month follows after their third payment.

Why we wait for the first payment: tying the reward to a qualifying payment instead of a signup keeps the program honest and means every referral is a real client — not a farmed code.

Who's a good fit to refer

Calamus works best for expertise-based businesses whose growth depends on being trusted and getting found — financial advisors, accounting and CPA firms, fractional CFOs, consultants, and similar professional-services businesses. If you know someone who should be publishing but never finds the time, they're exactly who we built this for.

The fine print

The first free month applies after your referral's first payment clears; the second after their third payment.
Self-referrals and duplicate referrals don't qualify.
Each side earns up to two free months total, applied as account credit to active subscriptions.
During our beta period, rewards are reviewed and approved manually — usually within a couple of business days of the qualifying payment.
